IMM Transformed the Idle Vehicle into a 'Technology Base'

IMM institution Istanbul Fire Department and its subsidiary ISBAK transformed the idle 2007 model heavy-duty vehicle into a 'technology base'. IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlumade examinations on the 'Fire Brigade Command and Communication Vehicle', which was designed to provide uninterrupted communication in case of crisis and disaster. Emphasizing that the Fire Brigade and ISBAK have brought in an intermediary institution whose deficiency is felt in the field, İmamoğlu said, "It is also proud to see that we have the ability to solve many issues within ourselves."

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Fire Brigade Department transformed one of the 29 idle vehicles it took over from the Civil Defense Directorate, which was abolished on 2009 May 3, into a "technology base". IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluexamined the “Fire Brigade Command and Communication Vehicle”, which is designed to provide uninterrupted communication in case of crisis and disaster, in front of AKOM, where it is parked. Imamoglu, who received technical information about the vehicle from Remzi Albayrak, Head of the Fire Brigade, said, “We talked to our Department Head several times about the lack of sohbetwe had landed. There are 1 radios that can listen to the "fire department 2-3-3" channels in the vehicle, which is equipped with a long distance communication device. There are 2 satellite phones with radios in the vehicle that can access the common radio communication channel established by AFAD.

In addition, it has the feature of connecting to satellite internet for use in areas where there is no internet access and GSM network. All programs and systems (cameras, firefighting information system, etc.) working in the IMM network can be used with satellite internet. On the upper part of the vehicle, there is a projector for lighting the area, a PTZ camera with 5 MP image quality with night vision, which can rotate 360 meters and can rotate 5 ​​degrees, and a meteorology sensor. The vehicle is equipped with an IP switchboard and 2 FCT devices capable of making external calls, and GSM lines. The vehicle consists of 2 sections as the operator section and the meeting room. The vehicle, which has retractable side sections, can reach a total interior volume of 25 square meters. There is a projector and television in the meeting room. It is possible to broadcast to the outside via the screen located on the outside of the vehicle.
