Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality extended a helping hand to the Ukrainians. 3 Trucks of aid materials were sent to the Romanian border, where women and children fleeing the war are concentrated. IMM, in cooperation with the Red Crescent under the coordination of AFAD, supported the humanitarian aid operation launched for Ukraine. The aid sent by IMM reached the Chernivtsi refugee camp on the Romanian-Ukrainian border.

A total of 85 thousand 657 pieces of aid, amounting to 2.123.220.60 TL, and 3 truckloads of food, hygiene and miscellaneous food materials were delivered to the region. The supplies were distributed in the Chernivtsi refugee camp on the Romanian-Ukrainian border on March 12.
