İzmir Metropolitan Municipality ESHOT General Directorate filed a criminal complaint to the İzmir Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident that occurred on February 24, in which seven ESHOT drivers and a police officer were injured with a knife. It was demanded that the two suspects, against whom an investigation file was opened, should be tried and punished.

In the incident that took place on Thursday, February 24, at around 05.00:XNUMX in İzmir, two suspects, who wanted to get on the ESHOT personnel shuttle bus on Yeşilyurt Polat Street, attacked the ESHOT drivers who warned them with a knife. Seven ESHOT drivers and a police officer who wanted to intervene in the incident were injured with a knife. While five of the injured were discharged after their treatment; The police officer and two ESHOT drivers, who were in serious condition, received treatment for a long time. The arrested suspects Mertcan A. and Selami Gökhan K. said in their statements that they did not remember the incident and that they were under the "drug influence".

ESHOT General Directorate filed a criminal complaint to the Izmir Public Prosecutor's Office for the two suspects, about whom an investigation file was opened. In the complaint petition prepared by ESHOT Legal Counsel, the suspects; It has been demanded that he be tried and punished for the crimes of attempting to kill deliberately, intentionally injuring, deprivation of liberty, hindering the right to benefit from public services, detention of the means of transportation and resisting to fulfill his duty.
