A new one is added to the overpasses that provide safe transportation of pedestrians without disrupting the traffic, which is an important part of the sustainable transportation movement. The tender for the overpass that will provide pedestrian traffic from the D-100 to Ormanya by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will be held on Tuesday, 29 March at 14.00. It is planned to complete the 47,5 meter long pedestrian overpass to be constructed by the Metropolitan Municipality Science Affairs Department in 180 days after the site delivery.
VISUALLY APPROPRIATE FOR FOREST
The columns of the overpass, which will provide pedestrian access to Ormanya via the D-100, will be concrete, and the main beam will be steel construction and a reinforced concrete slab. In terms of visual richness, flowers will be planted in the pots to be placed on the bridge, and the overpass columns will be made in the form of tree trunk cladding. The natural life park in Kocaeli's Kartepe district and the overpass that will provide pedestrian access to Ormanya, Turkey's most important nature tourism destination, will be built in an aesthetic image with flowers and tree trunk covering in accordance with the natural concept.
