Making evaluations in the program, President Asmalı drew attention to the importance of Ahi culture and shared the work of MUSIAD in this area.

Ahi Culture and National Production Movement Workshop was hosted by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD). In the event, which was held with the participation of MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı, Istanbul National Education Director Levent Levent Yazıcı, Education Support Platform Istanbul Branch President Seçkin Turan, evaluations on the reflections of Ahi culture in the business world were discussed. Speaking at the program, President Asmalı referred to the protocol signed between the Istanbul Directorate of National Education, the Education Support Platform and MUSIAD, and said, "We want to contribute to the growth of our youth with a national understanding within the ahi-order culture and to support the training of professional moral young people sought by the business world."

Mahmut Asmalı, Chairman of MUSIAD, made the following statements in his speech:

“The vision of the Akhism, which undertakes an important mission at the point of evolving the economic and commercial life into a much more value-added structure; while preparing the ground for honest and principled trade; It also improves the social system and morality. Akhism; It provides an important compromise between both tradesmen and tradesmen and citizens. It guides the fair and sustainable progress of trade and craftsmanship. When we look at the historical development of the Akhism, it is easy to find jobs for many artisans among the Turkmens who migrated from Central Asia to Anatolia; It draws attention that these people have a mission to compete with the local Byzantine craftsmen in Anatolia, to maintain the quality of the goods made in order to survive in the market, and to adjust the production according to the needs. Establishing the morality of art in the craftsmen, making the people economically independent, and helping the needy in every field are among the most important components of the Akhism culture. The institution of Ahilik; encompassing all segments of the business world in horizontal and vertical dimensions; It builds an ecosystem that deals with personal, corporate, social and universal gains and losses on the same axis. It paves the way for the creation of a common business ethics and business model by feeding on the cultural and spiritual values that our society has brought from the past to the present.

As a result of the changes made in vocational training, regulations were signed in favor of employers and employees. With the changes made, the state took the burden of the employer. Thus, our state has taken a burden of 1-2 billion TL from the employer. There are 256 OIZs in Turkey. There were vocational training centers in 87 of these OIZs. At the end of 2021, vocational training centers were established in all OIZs. If there is a master trainer in a business, that business will be able to take 40 apprentices. In the coming years, a much greater added value will be built in the Turkish economy with investments that strengthen the master-apprentice relationship. In May 2022, the number of students studying at vocational training centers is expected to reach 500 thousand. After these regulations, we will see that the number of apprentices employed in different sectors will increase rapidly.

The fact that MUSIAD signed the Ahi Culture and National Production Movement Cooperation Protocol with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and Education Support Platform is a different reflection of this point of view. Prepared considering the needs of the labor market, the protocol includes technology, equipment, human resources, R&D, production etc. It will enable the evaluation of the studies on focused issues and the culture of the Akhism by taking it to the multidimensional agenda. The scope of the protocol was determined as renewing the education and training programs given in schools to include the ahi-order culture, preparing the curriculum for the presentation of the ahi-order culture as the course content, and preparing the necessary materials for this training and presenting them to the ministry. Within the scope of the signed protocol, trainings will be organized to introduce the culture of Akhism to teachers and students at schools. We want to contribute to the growth of our youth in the culture of Akhism, with a national understanding, and to support the training of young people with professional morality sought by the business world.”
