Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın announced that line 801, which will operate between Kandıra Bus Station and Kocaeli Bus Station, will be put into service as of today. Line 801, which will be operated by TransportationPark, will use the new Kandıra road.
NEW LINE ANNOUNCED
Line no. 801, announced by President Büyükakın, will make 28 trips per day. President Büyükakın, regarding the new line, said, "We will provide faster and more comfortable transportation by opening a new line to the new road of our Kandıra, which we have put into service in the past days. Our line 801, which has an express feature, will depart from Kandıra Bus Station, come to Kocaeli Bus Station, and provide free transfer to Akçaray and line 10 from there. I wish this line, which was established in line with the incoming requests, to be beneficial and auspicious to my citizens from Kandıra.”
FREE TRANSFER
Line 801 will provide a "free" transfer to both Kocaeli University and the city center with Akçaray. Thanks to this transfer, which will be realized by tram, the traffic density that may occur in certain parts of the city will be eliminated. With line 10, students and citizens residing in Kandıra will be able to come to Kocaeli University easily. When arriving at the bus station by line 10 and tram, a complementary transfer to line 801 will be applied.
28 SEFER IN THE DAY
The buses that will depart from Kocaeli and Kandıra bus stations will make 28 trips per day. Buses that will depart during the day at half-past halftime will not be able to enter 801, Çubuklu, Çubuklubala and F Type Prison, as they will use the new Kandıra road. 18 M VEHICLES WILL BE USED
On line 801, buses with a length of 18 m, so-called articulated, will be used. Expeditions with buses with a larger passenger capacity will enable citizens to travel comfortably. 801, which will act as an express, will leave its passengers at the terminal without entering the city. In this way, citizens will be able to easily reach both Kocaeli University (line 10) and the city center by tram.
TRAVEL PRICES ARE ALSO ANNOUNCED
The price tariff of line 801, which is offered to citizens today, has also been announced. Full 10.00 TL, student 5.50 TL and discounted tariff 6,65 TL. Citizens will use the free transfer by getting off at the bus station in the direction of Kandıra-İzmit and getting on the line 800 or tram, with buses that will make transportation with the same fare as Line 10. In the direction of Izmit Bus Station - Kandıra, they will first pay the line 10 or the tram and then get on the line 801 with a complementary transfer.
