The official friendly match of the wheelchair basketball teams organized by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will take place on Thursday, March 3, between 14.00 and 16.00 at the İzmit Şehit Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall. The match, to which all our people are invited, will be played between the Kocaeli Disabled Sports Club Wheelchair Basketball Team, which is in the 2021st league of the Turkey Wheelchair 2022-1 season, and the Galatasaray Wheelchair Basketball Team, which is in the Super League.
YOU ARE INVITED TO WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL MATCH
After the preparation match between Kocaeli in the 1st league and Galatasaray in the Super League, the Kocaeli team will play against the Aksaray Municipality Sports Club Wheelchair Team in Istanbul in the coming days. In the league where the fierce struggle between the teams is experienced, the performance of the players will increase even more thanks to the preparation match that will take place tomorrow, and preliminary preparations will be made for the league match.
I'M IN BASKETBALL
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality organizes such sports organizations in order to encourage and encourage individuals with special needs to sports, with the "I'm In" project, which it has implemented recently. With this Wheelchair Basketball competition, it is aimed to raise social awareness about the participation of disabled people in life. The project, which was implemented in order to train the medalist disabled athletes of the future and to say that I am in every sport, includes disabled individuals between the ages of 10 and 35 living in Kocaeli.
