Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality has determined the price of 280 grams of Ramadan pita as 2 lira and 50 kuruş.
Despite the increasing costs, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Halk Ekmek, taking into account the purchasing power of citizens, will sell Folk Pide in 53 kiosks in order to deliver Turkey's most affordable pita to all Eskişehir residents, according to the announced figures.
Metropolitan Municipality Halk Ekmek will start to bring together the pitas produced in a hygienic environment with the people of Eskişehir at affordable prices this Ramadan. Underlining that the purchasing power of the citizens has decreased due to the pandemic process and the economic crisis we are in, Metropolitan Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen stated that for this reason, they will deliver the Ramadan pita produced in the Public Bread Facilities to the citizens at the most affordable price. Expressing that the People's Pide will reach thousands of citizens from 53 kiosks, President Büyükerşen stated that they will bring healthy and delicious pita to the citizens 6 days a week during the month of Ramadan, and wished the month of Ramadan to bring health, peace and abundance to the entire Islamic world.
