Gendarmerie teams in Izmir, together with the citizens, cleaned the forests and picnic areas. Animal Status Monitoring (HAYDİ) application was introduced to nature volunteers participating in the activity and brochures were distributed.
Izmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams carried out an environmental cleaning activity on March 13 in the forest area of Buca District Kaynaklar Mahallesi in order to protect the ecological balance and to create situational awareness in the citizens. Environment, Nature and Animal Protection Team teams collected bags of garbage together with nature volunteers during the works carried out because domestic wastes do not disappear in nature for many years, glass bottles cause forest fires and prevent environmental pollution.
On the other hand, the Animal Status Monitoring (HAYDİ) application was introduced to the nature volunteers participating in the activity and brochures were distributed by the teams.
