Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality participated in the 7th Seed Exchange Festival organized by Bursa Nilüfer Municipality and shared local seeds with the citizens of Bursa.
In order to increase production with sustainable local seeds throughout Turkey, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality distributes millions of seeds in Eskişehir and all over the country via online application, and continues to deliver local seeds to citizens by participating in the seed exchange festivals organized by local governments. Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality finally participated in the 7th Seed Exchange Festival organized by Bursa Nilüfer Municipality. In addition to Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, İzmir Metropolitan, Çanakkale, Beylikdüzü, Gemlik Municipalities and Kuzey Yıldız Rotary Club attended the festival held in the İhsaniye Indoor Market area. Nilüfer Folk Dance Ensemble also performed at the event, which started with the opening speech of Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem. A total of 41 local seed varieties took part in the seed exchange festival, which attracted great interest from the citizens.
