The new PEUGEOT 308, which has not been full of awards since its launch, has now been awarded with its unique design. The 2022 Red Dot Award, the most important award in the field of design, was given to the new 308, the first model in the automobile category to carry the new PEUGEOT logo. 50 members of the International Red Dot Award jury stated that they were as impressed as all car enthusiasts with the new 308 with its attractiveness, distinctive style, design quality and innovative i-Cockpit. With the new 308, PEUGEOT was awarded for the seventh time this prestigious award, which was founded in Germany in 1955 and has since become the brand of the best designs worldwide.

The new 308, which sets the standards again in its class and is the first model to carry the new PEUGEOT logo, has been deemed worthy of numerous awards since the day it was introduced. The new 2022, which was the last winner of the 308 Women's World Car of the Year Award (WWCOTY), has now succeeded in winning this prestigious award, which was established in Germany in 1955 and has since become the brand of the best designs worldwide. The new PEUGEOT 308, which took the first place in the automobile category, impressed the jury with its attractiveness, unique style, design quality and innovative i-Cockpit. Commenting on the award, PEUGEOT CEO Linda Jackson said, “We are proud to receive the Red Dot Design Award with the new PEUGEOT 308. While the new logo symbolizes the care and passion for design, the design of the logo; It expresses concepts such as originality, attractiveness, craftsmanship, technological excellence and innovation. Winning the most prestigious award in terms of product design shows that we made the right choice when designing our new car.”

Since its introduction at the end of 308, the new PEUGEOT 2021 has won 11 international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, while PEUGEOT has won the 2020 and SUV 208 in 2008, the SUV 2017 in 3008, the Traveler in 2016, the first generation 2014 in 308. It is bringing the Red Dot product design award to its museum for the seventh time with the new 2010, following the SW and RCZ Coupe models in 308.

Trend-setting design

While the new 308 was the first model to carry the new PEUGEOT logo, which was integrated into the honeycomb texture of the front grille and stylishly concealed the radar and sensors, it managed to impress the jury with its dynamic design. However, the vertical light signature at the front is complemented by Matrix LED headlights that provide greater efficiency and safety in everyday life. The three-clawed LED taillights at the rear reflect the brand's DNA.

The cabin offers a unique visual appearance with the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® 3D (digital display above the compact steering wheel), the new intuitive touchscreen for a smartphone experience and the i-Toggles configurable keys just below. AGR certified seats with different adjustment possibilities make a difference in their class with their advanced ergonomics, while LED ambient lighting (eight color options) and door panels made of Alcantara® or real aluminum parts, depending on the equipment level, complete the interior design.
