ASPİLSAN started the production of 'Emergency Power Battery' within the scope of the National Combat Aircraft (MMU) Program. The company also carries out LI-ION battery localization projects for the HÜRKUŞ, HURJET, T625 GÖKBEY and T929 Heavy Class Attack Helicopter (ATAK-II) projects.

Speaking at the AEROEX 2022 International Aviation and Space Technologies Symposium held in Kayseri, Aspilsan Aviation Projects Group Manager Özgür Şıvgın announced that they started the production of Emergency Power Battery for the National Combat Aircraft, which is planned to leave the hangar on March 18, 2023, and that Aspilsan battery will be on the aircraft at the roll-out ceremony.

National Combat Aircraft (MMU)

With the National Combat Aircraft (MMU) Project, which was initiated to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, the production of modern aircraft designed with domestic means and capabilities that can replace the F-2030 aircraft in the inventory of the Turkish Air Force Command and planned to be gradually removed from the inventory as of the 16s. is intended.

It is aimed that the aircraft, which will be produced within the scope of the National Combat Aircraft, will have technologies such as low visibility, internal weapon slots, high maneuverability, increased situational awareness, like other 5th Generation aircraft in its class. In this context, MMU; It will leave the hangar in 2023, make its first flight in 2026 and will be taken into inventory as of 2030.
