At the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting, a 38 percent increase in public transportation fees was accepted by a majority of votes.
In line with the decision taken, the hop-on-hop-off fee in minibus fees increased to 7,5 TL. The vehicles belonging to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, on the other hand, increased by 38 percent to 6,5 TL. The increase decision will be effective from March 20.
It was decided to hike public transportation vehicles in Izmir. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to increase the boarding fees of public transportation vehicles belonging to the municipality by 38 percent. In this context, as of March 20, the first boarding price for public transportation vehicles, which will be 4.70 TL, will be 6.5 TL.
50 PERCENT INCREASE IN MINIBUS
Minibus boarding prices in Izmir have increased by 50 percent. Accordingly, the hop-on hop-off minibus fee, which was 5 TL, was increased to 7,5 TL.
