205 Flights Canceled Due to Expected Snowfall in Istanbul

THY canceled 10 flights from Istanbul Airport on March 185, and AnadoluJet canceled 20 domestic flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport due to adverse weather conditions.

In the statement made by the THY Press Office, “Due to the expected snowfall in Istanbul, flights were canceled on March 10 at Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen Airports, in accordance with the MADKOM (Meteorological Emergency Committee) decision. The flight details are as follows: A total of 185 flights were canceled at Istanbul Airport. Of these, 114 are domestic flights and 71 are international flights. 20 Anadolujet flights were canceled at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. All flights are domestic flights. A total of 205 flights were cancelled. It is likely that the number of cancellations will increase due to the operation.
