2nd International DIY Workshops Symposium Held in Afyonkarahisar

The 2nd International DIY Workshops Symposium was held in Afyonkarahisar. Speaking at the symposium held in a thermal hotel in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of National Education and Zafer Development Agency in Afyonkarahisar, Deputy Governor Mehmet Boztepe said that they attach great importance to education.

At the opening of the DIY Workshops International Symposium, Deputy Veysel Eroğlu, Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education Head of Department Süleyman Akgül, Deputy Governor Dr. Mehmet Boztepe, Zafer Development Agency General Secretary Veli Oğuz, Provincial Director of National Education Metin Yalçın, protocol members, administrators and teachers attended.

Afyonkarahisar Do It Yourself Association, Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of National Education, Zafer Development Agency and Istanbul Gelisim University in cooperation with the second International DIY Workshops Symposium will be held on March 7-8-9, 2022 at the Ikbal Hotel. The symposium started with the opening speech of the Provincial Director of National Education Metin Yalçın.

Afyonkarahisar Provincial Director of National Education Metin Yalçın: “Good practices in education in our country and internationally; Afyonkarahisar DIY Workshop, in cooperation with Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of National Education, Zafer Development Agency and Istanbul Gelisim University, in order to share the exemplary studies in technology, design and skill workshops, as well as the results of exemplary project applications, with the education community and to contribute to the development of teachers who will raise the new generation. We have organized the second International DIY Workshops Symposium. At the same time, it is among our aims to disseminate these studies carried out by our teachers and to transfer the knowledge and experiences of teachers and academicians to the stakeholders. In this context, “Good practices in education; We will listen to the papers you will present under 3 main headings: technology, design and skill workshops, Project applications (e-Twinning Projects), Social Applied Sciences. International DIY Workshops Symposium 2022 will end with the presentation of 135 papers by 76 teachers and a panel on technology and its place in education after the papers.
