FIA-ETCR, the international motor sports organization where fully electric cars compete fiercely, is on the calendar with the contributions of EMSO Sportif in its brand new period in 2022. The introductory meeting of the Turkey race, which will be held between 2022-20 May as the second leg of the 22 calendar of the FIA ​​Electric Touring Cars World Championship, the electric car racing organization that will take your breath away with its environmentally friendly and innovative racing organizations, was held at the Haliç Shipyard, hosted by Beyoğlu Municipality. Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hamza Yerlikaya, Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Hasan Suver, Beyoğlu Mayor Haydar Ali Yıldız, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı, FIA-ETCR Series Director Xavier Gavory and EMSO Sportif. Speaking at the press conference, EMSO Sportif CEO Mert Güçlüer said, “Turkey, one of the most important automotive production bases in Europe with the brands it produces and its young population, will be one of the countries where FIA-ETCR, known as "Electric Formula", will be followed with enthusiasm. . We will blaze a trail in Turkey by carrying our organization, which will be held at Intercity Istanbul Park in 2022, to the streets of Beyoğlu next year.”

Turkey is also included in the 2021 calendar of the electric motorsports organization, which announced the name of PURE-ETCR (Electric Passenger Car World Cup) in 2022 with its mind-blowing electric power transmission systems, environmentally friendly activities, sustainable structure and unique concept. FIA-ETCR (Electric Touring Cars World Championship), which has become a much larger organization with the contributions of the International Motor Sports Federation (FIA), will be held in 2022 at the Intercity Istanbul Park track, hosted by Beyoğlu Municipality, with the contributions of EMSO Sportif and TOSFED.

It will be the FIA ​​World Championship for the first time

According to the program approved by the FIA ​​Touring Car Commission, approved by the FIA ​​World Motor Sports Council in Paris and organized by Discovery Sports Events, drivers and manufacturers of all-electric Touring cars will compete in the FIA ​​World Championship for the first time.

670 HP electric beasts

All participants will once again drive cars prepared within the framework of WSC Group's ETCR concept. With a maximum power of 500 kW (670 HP), this means the use of the most powerful Touring cars ever developed by the FIA ​​ETCR to fight for the FIA ​​World title. Power from the Williams Advanced Engineering battery pack feeds the Magelec Propulsion transmission, motor and inverters. BrightLoop converters convert voltage for items with low power requirements, while charging powered by HTWO Hydrogen generators charges a car from 0 to 100 percent in less than an hour at the paddock-based Energy Station.
