Expressing that the test phases are currently underway, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that the traffic chaos in the region will come to an end with the Subasi Mechanical Parking Lot.

Subaşı Mechanical Parking Lot, one of the most important projects produced by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality in order to solve the parking problem in the center, is counting the days to be put into the service of Samsun residents. 1472 vehicles will enter and exit the car park at the same time, which is made of steel construction on a total area of ​​​​12 square meters and has a height of 2 meters. On the ground floor, there will be a closed waiting hall, ticket offices, information, installation rooms, administrative rooms. In addition, fire extinguishing systems for each vehicle, remote monitoring and control systems, manual and automatic parking fee payment system, height and weight control sensors in the entrance and exit rooms, laser scanners, license plate recognition cameras, user information screens, voice communication system, parking assistance camera It was designed with the latest technology such as the vehicle detection magnetic detector. The parking lot, which is still in testing phase, is planned to be put into service after the landscaping works are completed.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that they are proud to put the Subasi Mechanical Parking Lot, which is among their election promises, into service. President Demir said, “We aim to find a radical solution to the traffic problem in all districts of our city with the parking projects we have implemented. Subaşı Mechanical Parking Lot, which we built on a total area of ​​1472 square meters, is one of them. The construction is now completely finished. Test phases are ongoing. The parking lot structure is a fully automatic mechanical system and was built on 2 floors. Domestic technology was also used in the engineering, design, software, manufacturing and application of the parking lot," he said, adding, "142 vehicles can be parked in the parking lot that works with the mechanical system. A system that allows drivers to park their vehicles untouched. With this project, we not only make an aesthetic contribution to Samsun in terms of urbanism, but also offer a technological, practical, economical and reliable solution to our fellow citizens. After completing the landscaping, we will put the car park into service.”
