The Snow Volleyball European Tour, which was held at Yedikuyular Ski Center with the participation of 16 athletes from 150 countries, was completed. President Güngör said, “This is the first time such an organization has been organized in Kahramanmaraş. Athletes from different countries also expressed that they liked our city and Yedikuyular Ski Center very much. Hopefully, the Snow Volleyball European Tournament will be held in Yedikuyular Ski Center for 3 years.”
The Snow Volleyball European Tour, hosted by Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, ended with the final competitions held today. In the tournament, where a total of 16 teams, 19 men and 8 women, from 27 countries competed, the Russian National Team became the champion of the first stage, both in men and women. Czech Republic came second and Turkey third in women's tournament, which was held with great interest from the audience. Ukraine came second and Russia third. Citizens who flocked to Yedikuyular Ski Center, taking advantage of the weekend, watched the sports competitions, got on the sled and skied. In addition, salep and ice cream were served to the athletes and guests at the ski center.

As the Volleyball Federation, we are planning to organize the Snow Volleyball European Tours in Yedikuyular Ski Center in the coming years and make them permanent. 150 Foreign Athletes

Tournaments Will Continue
Snow Volleyball Women's National Team Captain Bahanur Gökalp said, “We finished the first stage of the European Snow Volleyball Tour held in Kahramanmaraş with the third place. We are very happy to be on the podium and receive a medal. Our goal in the other stages of the Snow Volleyball European Tour is the championship. We had great misfortunes in the semi-final match. We have a bittersweet joy. They welcomed and supported us very well in Kahramanmaraş. I think there will be very good volleyball tournaments in Kahramanmaraş for 3 more years. We will come to Kahramanmaraş again to get better results," he said.

Russian National Team athletes, who defeated their rivals in the women's category in the European Snow Volleyball Tour held at Yedikuyular Ski Center, said, “We left behind a very good tournament for our team. We are very happy to be fighting in such a beautiful facility. We can't wait to fight here again," he said.
