In order to support young people to work on the technologies of the future, this year 2022 main competitions and technology competitions in 39 different categories will be held within the scope of TEKNOFEST 97. Within the scope of the Environment and Energy Technologies Competition, conducted by SANKO Holding, it is aimed to encourage the development of innovative and technological ideas by raising awareness on the use of renewable energy sources and creating an energy efficiency culture in the society, efficiency and environmental issues. All high school, university students and graduates studying in Turkey and abroad can participate in the competition. The engineers within the body of Sanko Holding will provide mentorship support to the students who will participate in the Environment and Energy Technologies Competition, and will also be involved in the evaluation processes of the projects with valuable Academicians.
Last year, 81 teams from 111 provinces and 44.912 countries applied to the "Technology Competitions" held as part of TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival. In the finals, 13 thousand projects competed. This year, thousands of our young people will be able to participate in technology competitions organized in different categories to realize their dreams. The application deadline is February 28.
This year, in order to support the projects of thousands of young people working in these fields, with the aim of increasing the interest of young people in producing and developing national technology; While the first prize at the high school level is 12 thousand TL, the second prize is 7 thousand TL, and the third prize is 4 thousand TL, the first place at the university level and above will be awarded 15 thousand TL, the second place 10 thousand TL, and the third place 5 thousand TL.
As part of the TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions, the teams that successfully completed the evaluation process and ranked in the Environment and Energy Technologies Competition to be held in Trabzon between 5-7 August 2022 will receive their awards at TEKNOFEST to be held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport on 30 August-4 September 2022.
