Tests continue for 100 electric buses that are planned to be included in the IETT fleet. Finally Bozankaya brand Sileo model domestic electric vehicle test was carried out.
Tested by IETT on the Metrobus line Bozankaya The range of the brand Sileo model 18 meters single articulated domestic electric bus is 250 kilometers. The batteries of the vehicle, which has a capacity of 55 seats, are located on the roof. The vehicle, which has the option of 3 or 4 doors opening outwards, is produced in Turkey and exported to many other countries.
IETT General Manager Alper Bilgili, Deputy General Manager İrfan Demet and the delegation of the relevant department heads tested the vehicle first inside the garage and then on the Metrobus line. Company officials informed the IETT delegation about the vehicle.
After testing other electric vehicles, IETT will hold a tender for the purchase of electric vehicles in the first half of this year.
