IETT tested TEMSA's Avenue Electron model for the purchase of 2022 electric vehicles in its 100 budget. A test event was held at the IETT garage in Istanbul for the Avenue Electron model of the company's electric bus, which was developed entirely by Turkish engineers in Adana and has a range of 400 kilometers.

TEMSA Deputy General Manager Hakan Koralp and TEMSA Sales Director Baybars Dağ accompanied the test drive in which İETT General Manager Alper Bilgili, Deputy General Manager İrfan Demet and relevant department heads took part.

Continuing its activities with the partnership of PPF Group, which also includes Sabancı Holding and Skoda Transportation, TEMSA has become one of the few companies that have a say in this field in the world, with 3 different models of electric buses that it has prepared for mass production.

PRODUCTION IN ADANA AND SELLING TO THE WORLD

Today, more than 66 thousand TEMSA branded vehicles are used in public transportation services in 15 countries of the world. Only in France, 5 thousand TEMSA branded vehicles serve on the roads of France. Exporting the first electric vehicle in its history to Sweden, one of the world's leading countries in this field, last year, TEMSA also won the electric vehicle tenders held by the Romanian cities of Buzau and Arad last year. The test drives of the electric bus, which it has specially developed for the US market, continue in the State of California. Batteries and battery packs used in electric vehicles exported abroad are also developed and produced at TEMSA facilities in Adana.

TESTED IN 6 CITIES OF TURKEY

TEMSA, the pioneer of electric vehicle mobilization in public transportation in Turkey, also carried out demo drives in Gaziantep, Mersin, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Denizli and Kütahya cities. In addition, official signatures were signed with Samsun Metropolitan Municipality for Turkey's first domestic electric bus, developed by TEMSA together with ASELSAN, to hit the roads.

10 TIMES MORE SAVINGS THAN DIESEL

Electric vehicles have 10 times less fuel cost per year than diesel vehicles used in public transportation. TEMSA aims to make an important contribution to Istanbul both environmentally and economically, with the introduction of vehicles using the latest technologies in electric transportation.

WILL BE TESTED OVER ONE WEEK

Avenue Electron, TEMSA's 100 percent electric vehicle, will be tested in Istanbul for a week with the weights placed on it. After the test and technical specification process is completed, the tender process for the purchase of electric vehicles will be started.
