İBB Technology Workshops Give Their First Graduates

The education of fourth and fifth grade students was completed in the 'Technology Workshops', which was realized with the cooperation of IMM and Boğaziçi University. The new term of the trainings, for which 238 students received certificates of participation, will begin with new students on February 26.

The first half of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Technology Workshops has been completed. In October 2021, 4th and 5th grade students participated in the training, which started by the IMM Youth and Sports Directorate in cooperation with Boğaziçi University. 238 students completed the four-month workshops with a certificate of participation. Apart from the age group that will start with new students on February 26, 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th grade students continue their education. The training of the group, which continues its training on programming and coding, artificial intelligence, robotic applications and mobile application development, graphic design, and project development, will be completed in June.

STUDENTS DETERMINED BY EXAM

The 4th and 5th grade students who participated in the IMM Technology Workshops took courses on computer-free computer science activities, computer game design and development, graphic design and production.

NEW WORKSHOPS OPENED

Two new points have been added to the workshops served by the IMM Youth and Sports Directorate. In addition to the existing workshops, İBB Erdem Beyazıt Cultural Center and Pendik Dolayoba workshops in Güngören district were added to the training points.

TOTAL 834 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE

Technology Workshops started in 722 centers with the participation of 6 students. The work of the weekday groups, in which 112 more students participated, continues in these workshops.
