Flash BA.2 Explained by Harvard Professor Super Variant!

The sub-variant BA.2 of Omicron, which has become the dominant species in a short time, does not fall off the agenda. Harvard professor William Haseltine made flash statements about BA.2, which turned out to be even more contagious than Omicron.

The coronavirus (Kovid-19), which has not fallen off the agenda with the Omicron variant, continues to be the number one common agenda in the world.

The sub-variant BA.2 of Omicron, which has been scientifically proven to be more contagious, is on the agenda again with a warning.

Professor William Haseltine at Harvard put forward the claim that BA.2 is a super variant. As proof of this claim, Haseltine cited BA.2 as being the fastest spreading type of Kovid-19.

Haseltine stated that BA.2 is at least 7.5 times more contagious compared to the Wuhan version. The US scientist, who wrote an article for Forbes, used the following statements;

'After some quick calculations, BA.2 is at least seven and a half times more contagious than the original Wuhan version. That's on par with the most contagious diseases ever identified.'

WHAT IS WHO SAYING?

BA.2, which is stated to be more contagious than Omicron, continues to spread. Speaking on behalf of WHO, Dr. Boris Pavlin made the following statements;

'When we look at other countries where BA.2 is currently overtaking, we do not see higher-than-expected increases in hospitalizations'

Palvin underlined that they came to this conclusion in the light of data from Denmark, the first country where BA.2 subvariant cases surpassed BA.1.

DON'T KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM

WHO has registered BA.2 and BA.3 as new sub-variants of Omicron. It is unknown where BA.2 first appeared.

But so far, BA.2 has been found in dozens of countries. For BA.3, it is stated that the case rates are low.

70X FASTER THAN DELTA

On the other hand, comparing it to Omicron and Delta, scientists determined that Omicron multiplies in the airways 70 times faster than Delta.

In the research conducted at the University of Hong Kong, it was found that the new variant multiplies 10 times slower in the lungs compared to Delta.

Scientists studying how quickly the new variant replicates in bronchial and lung tissue, say these results explain why Omicron causes a very contagious but milder disease.
