Operation EREN WINTER-18 (HAKKARI-KAZAN VALLEY) J.ASB.BÇVŞ.TİMUÇİN ALADAĞ was launched in Hakkari Province with the aim of removing the PKK terrorist organization from the country's agenda and neutralizing the terrorists who are considered to be sheltering in the region.
In the operation by the Hakkari Provincial Gendarmerie Command; 1050 personnel and 68 operational teams, consisting of Gendarmerie Commando, Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH), Police Special Operations (PÖH) and Security Guard teams, are on duty.
