Akşehir New Bus Station Opened to Service

The new Akşehir Bus Terminal, the construction of which was completed by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, started to serve.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they have shaped their investment plans for the development of Konya together with its districts, and stated that they are making an effort to bring the investments they have put into practice in the city center of Konya to the districts as well.

Noting that they continue to invest in 31 districts of Konya, Mayor Altay said, “In this context, we opened our new and modern bus station building in Akşehir. The old bus station building, with its physical structure, was a serious risk especially because Akşehir was a first degree earthquake zone. We opened our new bus station with 12 platforms and put it into the service of our citizens. Thus, our citizens will be able to travel in a safer and more comfortable environment. We are putting our investments into service one by one, not only in Akşehir, but in all our districts. I wish the new bus station to be beneficial for our Akşehir and Konya.” used the expressions.
