Particular attention should be paid to ensure that the fluoride content of the water consumed during childhood is at a sufficient level. In the case of using tap water in areas with low fluoride content in the water, fluoride supplementation should be applied when necessary in line with the recommendations of the dentist.

Dental examinations should be done regularly, at least once every 6 months.

With continuous use (twice a day for seven days a week), the average lifespan of a toothbrush is three months. You need to replace your brush after about 200 uses; because the bristles of the toothbrush wear out. Curled or broken bristles cannot clean your teeth properly. After a few months, bacteria and food particles begin to accumulate on the toothbrush. That's why the toothbrush should be changed every three months.
