The projects containing the route and station layout plans for the Dikimevi-Natoyolu Light Rail System Project were submitted to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments with an official letter.
Dikimevi-Natoyolu Metro Project Completed
Addressing the people of the Capital with the words "We are bringing Ankara together with the metro after many years" in his social media accounts, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared the following information about the metro project:
“As of today, we have completed our Dikimevi-Natoyolu metro project that will connect Mamak to ANKARAY between AŞTİ-Dikimevi and presented it to the Ministry of Transport. After the approval process, Mr. With the President's inclusion in the investment program, we will go out to tender for the construction," he said.
Mamak Metro will consist of 8 stations
Following the approval of the projects of the metro line, which will be built entirely underground, by the Ministry, an investment application will be made from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality to the Presidency of Strategy and Budget for the project. Immediately after the approval of the investment application, the construction tender will be launched.
The length of Dikimevi-Natoyolu line, which will be integrated into the ANKARAY line running between Ankara Intercity Terminal Operation (AŞTİ) and Dikimevi, will be 7,4 kilometers.
