According to data from database query platform Tianyancha.com, 5,27 million companies operate in China's toy industry. Data shows that 83 percent of these were established within five years, and more than 55 percent are sole proprietorships.
South China's Guangdong Province ranked first with more than 590 companies, while the cities of Zhejiang and Shaanxi ranked second and third. Last year, the number of newly registered toy companies reached a record 1,73 million. As of Sunday, more than 100 toy-related company registrations were registered this year, which means that on average more than 2 companies are formed per day.
