Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank visited the Turkish game company, which realized exports of 20 million dollars with the game developed in 3 months with a team of 200 people.

Loop Games Founder Mert Gür stated that the game industry is growing fast in Turkey and said, “Turkey is one of the best in the industry right now, and the whole world accepts this. If we can focus on this side and create big game companies, no one can catch up with us.” said.

Emphasizing that the human resources of the sector are at an advanced technical level, Gür stated that interest in the game sector has started to come from other fields such as the finance sector.

Gür stated that the support given to the sector in Turkey is in a better condition compared to other countries, but these supports are not known enough in the world.

Stating that the salaries in the gaming industry can also compete with those abroad, Gür said, "There is even a reverse brain drain in this company." he said.

Minister Varank also received information about the current works and new projects of Teknokent from Hacettepe University Rector Mehmet Cahit Güran and Hacettepe Teknokent General Manager Veysel Tiryaki.
