İzmir Metropolitan Municipality will organize a traditional seed exchange event tomorrow at the Can Yücel Seed Center in the Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area. There will also be workshops and talks at the event, where all Izmir residents are invited.
Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerCan Yücel Seed Center, which was opened last year in Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area in the light of the vision of "Another agriculture is possible", will host the traditional seed exchange event. The event, which will be held tomorrow (28 February 2022), will start at 10.30. Hundreds of thousands of local seeds from every region of Turkey will meet at this event and will be exchanged for future generations.

In the event, there will be local seed stands of associations, groups, cooperatives, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, other metropolitan municipalities, provincial municipalities and district municipalities.
