Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer hosted 14-year-old Kaan Güzel and 8-year-old Esila Dora Badak, who wanted to meet him, in his office. President Soyer's second guest was 8-year-old Esila Dora Badak. Esila stated that President Soyer knew about the love of animals and said, “I wanted to draw you a picture on the love of animals. Your sensitivity to the environment and the value you give to animals means a lot to me. I love you so much,” she said.
President Soyer, who gave a book to Esila as a gift, said, “There is also 'İlhan Veren Steps' among the books, and there are striking success stories of 40 women in this book. I hope you will be the 41st of these women. This book will guide you. I know that you will be one of the proud women of this country.”
