After Russia's operation in Ukraine, Poland announced that it has prepared a train with 5 wagons to transport the wounded in Ukraine under attack.

While the attacks continued on the third day of Russia's military operation against Ukraine, support came from Poland to Ukraine. Polish Prime Minister's Office Chief Michal Dworczyk announced that a train with 5 wagons is being prepared for Ukrainian citizens injured in the attacks of Russian troops in Ukraine.

Michal Dworczyk, who made investigations in the city of Przemysl, near the Ukrainian border in Poland, said, “The train is being built to carry 150 injured and it is planned to be finished in a short time. If needed, the train will be able to go to the city of Mostyska in western Ukraine and take the injured. Injured citizens will be brought to the Covid-19 hospital created in the Warsaw National Stadium in the first place, and after the first examinations to be made there, they will be transferred to specialist hospitals in the areas they need. I hope that Ukrainian citizens will not need to use this train," he said.

Mostyska reported that a train with 4 wagons to carry humanitarian aid to Lviv Oblast is also ready.
