Minister Bilgin 'We Added 13 More Medicines to the Reimbursement List'

Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, announced that they put 1 more drugs on the reimbursement list, including 13 cancer drug. Minister Bilgin stated that 9 of these drugs are domestic production.

Minister Bilgin shared the information that a total of 4 drugs, 9 of which were imported and 13 of which were manufactured, were published on the Official website of the Social Security Institution without the regulation of the Social Security Institution (SGK) Health Implementation Communiqué (SUT).

Stating that the drugs can be obtained from pharmacies contracted with the SGK, Bilgin said, "I hope that the drugs will heal our patients, and I wish our citizens a healthy life."

With the addition of 13 drugs to the reimbursement list, new alternatives and ease of access have emerged for the treatments they are used. Of these drugs, 1 is human immunoglobulin, 1 is hemophilia medicine and 1 is cancer medicine, 1 is pain reliever antipyretic syrup, 1 is antibiotic, 1 is enteral nutrition product, 1 is general anesthetic, 1 is poisoning treatment drug, 1 parenteral antibiotic, 1 topical drug used in joint and muscle pain, 1 topical antifungal, 1 topical antiviral, 1 drug used in the treatment of burns.
