The works in the "Merinos Tavern", which was built by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in order to keep the spirit of Merinos Factory, one of Turkey's first industrialization breakthroughs, have come to the completion stage.
The foundation of the local, which was designed at the request of employees who add value to the country's economy with their 'sweats' at the Merinos Factory, one of the symbol establishments of the Republican era industry, was laid about 5 months ago. While the rough construction was completed in the local building, which was built on an area of 250 square meters in the Merinos Park, which will include toilets, ablutions, baby care rooms, male and female prayer rooms, a local and a kitchen, the fine workmanship and electrical and mechanical productions have now come to an end.
The facility, which will become the meeting point of those who retired from Merinos, will also shed light on Turkey's industrialization history.
