Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality TransportationPark A.Ş. It took important steps in order to increase the service quality in passenger transportation and granted VQA (Vocational Qualification Institution) certificate to the drivers and trainees at European Union standards.

TransportationPark General Manager Serhan Çatal delivered the certificates to the trainee and driver candidates who were successful in the theoretical and performance exams. The delivery ceremony took place at the TransportationPark General Directorate. At the delivery ceremony, Serhan Çatal said, “With this document, we are taking our quality one step further. The document obtained by our drivers and riders is an internationally valid document. We will continue to demonstrate an innovative and productive attitude in the transportation of our Kocaeli. Day by day, we will continue our work professionally, we will continue to work with all our strength,'' he said.
FUNDS RECEIVED FROM EU
TransportationPark A.Ş., a subsidiary of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. Stating that he was entitled to receive the EU direct-2 grant as a result of his initiatives, General Manager Çatal said, “With this document, which includes the criteria of urban passenger transportation in European Union standards, urban rail systems train driver, urban rail systems traffic controller, employees will reach the highest standards. With this certificate obtained by the drivers and boatmen, the service quality will increase even more and the satisfaction of the passengers will increase. The quality of the city's transportation will be carried one step further, as the drivers and trainees are now at European standards,'' he said.
693 STAFF ARE INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM
A total of 693 personnel working in Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality TransportationPark A.Ş. were included in this program. Bus drivers, rail systems employees (vatman) and traffic controller personnel participated in the training and subsequent certificate program held within the specified date range. Vatman and all of the traffic controllers, and the first group of drivers who took the exam, were entitled to receive a certificate.
