JAK Team Rescued Vacationers Lost While Skiing in Kartalkaya

Two people who disappeared in Kartalkaya Ski Center, one of Turkey's most important winter tourism centers, were found by the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue team.

In the center where they came for vacation, 2 people who went off the track while skiing and got lost in the forest area, called the 112 Emergency Call Center and asked for help.

Upon the notice, the JAK team working in Kartalkaya started to work and the location of the holidaymakers was determined.

About 6 kilometers away from the runways, 2 people were directed by the teams to Ardalan Plateau against the danger of freezing and wild animal attacks, and they were asked to take shelter in the barracks there.

The JAK team, which set out with a UTV vehicle, cut the tree that fell on the road in the area where the snow thickness is 2 meters in places, by cutting it with a chainsaw.

The disappeared, Süleyman K. and Funda H., were picked up by the teams from where they were and dropped off at the hotel where they were staying.
