According to AKOM data, Istanbul will be under the influence of 2 separate air currents. It is expected that Lodos, which will strengthen in the afternoon, will turn into a storm in places and heavy rain transitions will be experienced from the evening hours. It is estimated that the cold, stormy and rainy weather that will come over the Balkans in the evening will be effective until Wednesday. While the IMM Teams took precautions against the risk of flood and overflow, the citizens were warned against the negativities such as tree falling and roof flying due to the storm.

According to the data of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), the wind is expected to strengthen from the southern directions (Lodos) after noon and to be effective in the form of a storm (30-60km/h) from the evening hours. With the effect of the lodos, torrential rain is expected in the city.

The Marmara region, especially Istanbul, will be under the influence of the cold and rainy air coming from the Balkans after 18:00 tonight. Until the middle of the week (Wednesday), it is estimated that there will be heavy rain (50-85kg / m30) in places with a storm (60-2km / h).

It is expected that the precipitation will increase in the districts of Silivri, Çatalca and Arnavutköy starting from the early hours (01:00) on Tuesday (tomorrow) and will continue to be strongly effective throughout the day with the Poyraz storm (50-85km/h) throughout the province.

The temperatures, which are expected to rise up to 11°C today, are expected to decrease to 5°C, with the wind getting stronger again from the north, starting tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

IMM Teams; Stream and manhole overflows, underpasses and flooding in low-lying areas, and ponding on the roads were vigilant. Citizens are warned against the risks of falling trees, poles, flying roofs and signboards due to the storm, while studies are being carried out to prevent possible adverse weather conditions from disrupting transportation.
