Imamoglu, respectively; Köstendilli Ali Efendi Tomb in Selamiali District, which was restored by İBB Heritage teams, “Hakimiyeti Milliye Bazaar and Underground Parking Lot Construction” in Mimar Sinan District, “İSKİ İstavroz Tunnel Construction Site” in Beylerbeyi District, and “Cokpecker” in Çengelköy District. He made visits to the "Functional Service Building" and the "Completion Construction of the Indoor Sports Hall" in Küçüksu Mahallesi. Üsküdar Mayor, Hilmi Türkmen, accompanied İmamoğlu on his study tour in Mimar Sinan District.

“ÜSKÜDAR WILL GET ITS NEW FACE”

Imamoglu, who received detailed information about the progress of IMM's projects in Üsküdar from his staff, made his evaluation about the district visit at the construction site of the indoor sports hall in Küçüksu Mahallesi. Stating that they visited very important projects of Üsküdar, İmamoğlu said, “We visited our square work in Üsküdar and here we are at the end. In this process, which was initiated in the past with Üsküdar Municipality, we have eliminated some legal and administrative deficiencies. We're about to get the construction together quickly," he said. Emphasizing that Üsküdar will have a new face with the completion of the Hakimiyeti Milliye Bazaar in Mimar Sinan District and the underground parking lot for 1000 vehicles, İmamoğlu said, “It carries the traces of Mimar Sinan, at the same time meets its cultural needs there, gives a breath of fresh air in the city and preserves its greenery. We look forward to sharing this with our fellow citizens from Üsküdar, with a square design, after the holiday, like a holiday good news.”

“BLOODY IMAGES WILL NOT BE EXPERIENCED IN THE BOSPHORUS”

Stating that the waste water and rain water flowing from Beylerbeyi to the Istavroz Creek, which flows into the sea, will be separated with the investments they have made, İmamoğlu gave the good news that the bloody scenes experienced during the Sacrifice Festivals in the past years will be prevented. “To see that waste water mix into the Bosphorus is a really heartbreaking situation,” said İmamoğlu, adding, “After all, the Bosphorus is a pearly place. The most precious part of Istanbul. We visited the spot there. But it's not just him. Here is an infrastructure work that integrates the system that collects wastewater, separates rain water and pumps them to Küçüksu treatment at many points, from Bülbül Stream to Çengelköy. In other words, when we look at the current value of İSKİ with my friends, we transfer an investment of perhaps more than 1 billion dollars to Üsküdar in just 2,5 years.”

“THE OLD MANAGEMENT'S DORMITORY BUILDING WILL BE USED AS MULTIFUNCTIONAL”

Reminding that the multifunctional service building in Çengelköy District was designed as a dormitory building by the former İBB administration, İmamoğlu said, “It was a place that had some problems in terms of access and transportation. Our friends rearranged this place to meet the needs of that region. We have a very stylish, large nursery with 8 classrooms, as well as a neighborhood house and areas to meet the needs of other units, including the headman's office. In other words, it is a very beautiful building that serves the neighborhood and incorporates many of our units, including social services. We followed the completion of a valuable work, from its stage to its very beautiful library, in which small theater plays will be staged. Hopefully, it will appear in a completed form in May," he said.

“WE WILL GIVE A GIFT TO ÜSKÜDAR AT THE END OF Ramadan”

Saying, “The construction of the indoor sports hall in Küçüksu was stopped and the decision to liquidate was taken when we took over it,” İmamoğlu shared the following information:

“There was a long legal process. Then I came to visit the beginning of the work, with the recovery of this process by our friends, a new tender process, and the healthy performance of the contractor. We have both an indoor gym and an indoor swimming pool here. At the same time, we have an indoor car park for 130 vehicles that will serve both here and the environment. But at the same time, we also have sports fields that use open spaces intensively in the upper parts. These, as open fields, will provide good services to our residents here. All these things appear as a kind of good news for us, as the areas that we will present as gifts to the people of Üsküdar right after the month of Ramadan and at the end of the Ramadan Feast.”

JOURNAL

In his evaluation speech, İmamoğlu said, "Obviously, what we are looking at basically is to solve some problems related to the past, to implement the construction of new projects, to attach great importance to infrastructure, but also to reveal the real need in the superstructure and to collect the demands of all citizens there, to ensure that all political stakeholders, To enable the Assembly to express their appreciation and their thoughts, and then to make the most optimal administrative decision. All of these are a step-by-step, step-by-step rational project design process. From now on, Istanbul's understanding of service should be like this. Otherwise, making a tender alone, sometimes without correspondence, sometimes without inter-institutional agreement or reconciliation, is a stance that really hurts and disturbs the institutions. Frankly, we experience the peace and joy of having made this arrangement with all my friends. At the same time, I would like to express that; I would like to state that I have the pleasure of serving 39 districts without any political discrimination. Good luck to Üsküdar," he concluded.

İmamoğlu concluded his visit to Üsküdar by meeting with citizens and tradesmen at the district market in Yavuztürk District.
