With the project, cooperative member producers can apply to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and receive free consultancy services for product planning, branding or products they want to offer to the foreign market. Applications are received through the "İzmir Agriculture Advisory Line" on the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality website. The consultancy service is Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor. Product planning consultancy
President Tunç SoyerStating that every farmer who is a member of the cooperative in İzmir can benefit from this free consultancy service, he said, “With this project, we aim to further develop İzmir's agriculture with the vision of Another Agriculture is Possible. We have two main goals: To fight drought and poverty. İzmir Agriculture is implemented to prevent excessive water consumption as a result of incorrect agricultural irrigation and to combat drought and climate crisis. In this direction, free product planning consultancy is given to producers in order to identify products with low irrigation need and low input costs, and higher market value and net income. The product pattern is determined by examining the climatic and physical characteristics of the applicant's land on site.
Sales and marketing support
Emphasizing that İzmir Metropolitan Municipality provides sales and marketing support to small producers organized under the roof of the cooperative, Mayor Soyer said, “The project implemented to increase not only the added value but also the intrinsic value of the products produced by the farmer consists of branding consultancy, purchase guarantee and sales guarantee legs. In order to enlarge the direct sales channels to the manufacturers, services are provided on packaging design and export methods.

Farmers can both find the necessary information and apply for the category they want through the forms accessed through the “Izmir Agriculture Advisory Line” on the website of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. If the farmer wants to grow a new product, he can get planning support for the products suitable for the area he will produce by filling out the "Product Planning Form".
By using the "Product Design Form", he can get help regarding the packaging and branding processes of the product he produces. Finally, producers who fill out the "Export Form" can apply to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality to export the product they produce in large quantities.
