Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to undertake projects promoting winter sports in the Capital. Bringing BELPA Ice Skating to the service of the Capital City again, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to introduce the youth by taking them to the tourism centers in the city. In this context, the members of the Family Life Center (AYM) and their families attended the ski festival organized by the Women and Family Services Department at Elmadağ Ski Center.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring the citizens of the capital together with winter sports.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has signed projects that encourage sports, hosts various events especially for young people to meet and love winter sports.
In this context, the Department of Women and Family Services organized a trip to Elmadağ Ski Center and brought together the youth members of the Family Life Center (AYM) and their families.
FROM SKIING TO FRIZBIA
The Metropolitan Municipality, which also aims to introduce the city's tourism centers to future generations, organized a ski festival in Ankara's ski center Elmadağ Ski Center.
The young people and their families, who participated in many activities from skiing to frisbee, from horse riding to playing snowballs, had a fun day with barbecue.
''TO SEE OUR YOUTH HAPPY MAKES US HAPPY''
Stating that they will continue to bring the people of the capital together with cultural and nature activities, Women and Family Services Department Project Coordinator Cahide Özden gave the following information:
“As the Women and Family Services Department, we were thinking of organizing a ski festival for both our colleagues and our students. It makes us even more happy to see that our young people who come to Elmadağ Ski Center are happy. I would like to thank Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and our President, Mr. Mansur Yavaş, for providing such an opportunity to the students of the capital city.''
Tuğba Aydın, Project Coordinator of the Department of Women and Family Services, pointed out that young people have the opportunity to get to know their city with such festivals and while doing this, they have started to love winter sports. We thought about having a festival here, I hope everyone had a fun time here today. We thank our President Mansur.”
OPPORTUNITY TO SOCIALIZE
Thanks to Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş for the support he gave to the students in Başkent, Başkent students also stated that they had the opportunity to socialize thanks to the festival and expressed their satisfaction with the following words:
