Speaking during the visit at the THY Headquarters in Yeşilköy, ATO President Baran said that since they took office as the Management, the issue of direct flights from Ankara has been an unchanging agenda item and that they are working to launch new direct flights from Başkent to abroad.

Noting that as Ankara Chamber of Commerce, they carry out their work on a three-pronged strategy to support the development of its members, the development of the capital's trade and the country's economy, Baran said, “Easy accessibility and direct flights are indispensable for the development of trade and tourism. Baran informed the Turkish Airlines delegation about the "EKO İKLİİM Economy and Climate Change Summit" to be held at the ATO Congresium on March 30-31 under the leadership of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and invited the delegation to participate in the Summit.

THY Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Bolat, said that they would support the Ankara Chamber of Commerce's work on direct flights from Ankara to abroad.
