The 57th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, will be held between 10-17 April 2022.

The staged road bike race, which is in the Pro Series category of the International Cycling Union (UCI), will start in Bodrum on Sunday, April 10 with the participation of professional teams and athletes, and will end in Istanbul on Sunday, April 17.

Istanbul and the historical peninsula will host the final stage of the giant intercontinental organization that will pass from the Aegean to Thrace by crossing the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge. The natural beauties and cultural riches of our country will accompany the competition of cyclists for 8 days, 8 stages. The 57 stages of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey in its 1289th year, renewed along the 8 kilometer track, will be as follows:

“We are very excited before the 57th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, where we will host world-renowned teams and make innovations in many ways. The TUR 2022 track, which was meticulously prepared by our board of directors and technical teams, was designed to contribute to the promotion of the country and the spread of cycling by increasing sports competition. We see the choice of track as very important in two respects. We aimed to make the race open to competition and exciting for the audience until the last moment, with the positioning of the climbing and sprint gates, which brings a breath of fresh air to the struggle in the race with its sporting aspect. In terms of national and international promotion, I believe that we have designed a route that will be followed with interest by both the people of the region and the viewers by including different routes that host the historical and natural beauties of our country.”

A First In History Will Be Signed With Cyclists Crossing The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge

Standing out as the world's first and only "Intercontinental Stage Cycling Race", the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, in its 57th year, will make another innovation, crossing two bridges connecting Anatolia to Europe and drawing attention to our country's strategic location and transportation network infrastructure.

The Edremit – Gallipoli track, which will host the 7th stage, will pass through the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and reach Europe, while the 8th and final stage will start from the historical peninsula and extend to Anatolia with the 15 July Martyrs Bridge crossing. After 3 tours that increase the pleasure of watching on Bağdat Street and the historical peninsula, the giant organization will come to an end in Istanbul.
