Metin Akbaş, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), examined the stations and stations in the Eastern Anatolia Region together with the 'On-Site Solution Team'. TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş examined the snow-fighting efforts in the Eastern Anatolia Region on site. At the beginning of the week, Akbaş visited 41 stations and stations in the region with the On-site Solution Team, participated in the efforts to combat snow and ice and received information from the authorities. The third stop of the delegation, which first made contacts in Kars and Erzurum, was Erzincan. Akbaş, who met with the railwaymen in Erzincan Station and examined the works on site, met with the students of the Erzincan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Rail Systems Area. During the visit, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, the students sohbet Akbaş gave information about the change in the railways. Sharing his experiences with the students, the General Manager of TCDD sincerely answered the students' questions about career planning and made recommendations.

TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş and the accompanying delegation then continued their investigations on the Erzincan Line with a railway car. The route was visited and possible landslide areas were examined on the 90-kilometer road, and the measures to be taken were discussed. Continuing his contacts at Eriç and İliç stations, Akbaş also examined the Güllübağ Canyon Bridge.

Having a meeting with İliç Mayor Mustafa Gürbüz, Akbaş then moved on to Kemaliye Çaltı Station. TCDD General Manager, who was in logistics support meetings here, examined the junction lines projects to be built in the mines. Emphasizing the importance of the region for the Turkish economy, Akbaş underlined that the investments to be made will contribute to employment. Stating that there is a cargo volume of approximately 1 million tons in the region, Akbaş received information from the authorities on iron ore shipments at Demirdağ Station.

TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş and On-Site Solution Team made contacts at 41 stations and stations within the framework of their two-day visit to Eastern Anatolia and supported the railwaymen's fight against snow. The tour ended in Sivas.
