MAM-T, which was developed with the knowledge gained from ROKETSAN's proven MAM family in the field, entered the inventory. The MAM-T, which was introduced and used during the first firing test of Akıncı TİHA on April 22, 2021; Although it has been developed in line with Akıncı's capabilities, it can also be integrated into other transportable UAVs, light attack aircraft and warplanes. Mass production of the MAM-T will start in the second half of 2021 and it has been taken into inventory. ROKETSAN General Manager Murat Iki explained the process with the statement that “MAM-T will be used by the Turkish Armed Forces together with our AKINCI UAV with mass production in the second half of this year”.

The MAM-T is larger than the previous MAM variants and has a different blade design. Offering a larger wing area, this design gives it longer strike ranges. Thanks to this capability, Akıncı and other platforms flying at higher altitudes compared to Bayraktar TB2 will be able to destroy the said systems at low cost without entering the effective range of air defense systems such as Pantsir and Tor.
