President Erdoğan attended the “National Technologies and New Investments Collective Opening and Promotion Ceremony” held at TAI Facilities in Kahramankazan. Making a speech here, Erdoğan stated that the National Combat Aircraft will be in the skies in 2029.

With the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a number of facilities such as the National Combat Aircraft (MMU) Engineering Center and the Composite Production Building belonging to Turkish Aerospace Industries AŞ (TUSAŞ) are in the Ankara Aerospace and Aviation Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (HAB). National Technologies and New Investments Collective Opening Ceremony was held for 16 factories that will operate.

The opening ceremony was held for a number of facilities belonging to TAI, such as the National Combat Aircraft Engineering Center, Composite Production Building, and 16 factories to operate in the Ankara Aerospace and Aviation Specialized Organized Industrial Zone.

President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir stated that when he graduated from the aircraft engineering department 40 years ago, it was difficult to find a job and said, “Today, thank God, we see this. Our aircraft engineers do not have a problem finding a job.” said.

Head of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. In his speech here, İsmail Demir said that new centers and facilities will be opened that will make significant contributions to the National Technology Move initiated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Stating that the Turkish defense industry has achieved success in many areas, President Demir stated that Turkey should go a long way in its goal of becoming a global power and achieve great successes.

Head of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. Emphasizing that when he graduated from the aircraft engineering department 40 years ago, it was difficult to find a job, İsmail Demir said:

“Over the years, many aeronautical engineers had to go abroad, do other education and engineering in other subjects. What was the reason for this? It was not a will, a vision, a project. In fact, when the F-16 assemblies were finished, there were discussions about what we would do with this TAI. But today we see this thankfully. Our aircraft engineers do not have a problem finding a job. Many of our engineers do not have a problem finding a job.”

President Demir said that from the days when it was said that we should work even though it was an aircraft design project years ago, there were many fields to work as an aircraft engineer and said to the engineers, “If something is man-made, we will do better. Let's believe in this. Thankfully, we see this will and determination in our youth.” He said they gave the message.

Expressing that the facilities to be opened are the seeds for the future, President Demir said, “The wind tunnels to be built here will be one of the most important elements in Turkey's future space and aviation projects.” used the expressions.
