Aski Sports Club Introduced the Children of Başkent to Badminton

Continuing to support sports and athletes in the capital city, the Metropolitan Municipality implemented the “300 Children 300 Athletes Project in Ankara” primarily to encourage the children of disadvantaged families to do sports. In this context, ASKİ Sports Club continues to bring children from the Capital City together with many sports branches. Children show great interest in the free badminton course at Batıkent Sports Hall and Sincan Family Life Center.

Continuing to support sports and athletes in the capital city, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to support all branches of sports.

As part of the "300 Children, 300 Athletes in Ankara Project" by ASKİ Sports Club, the free sports trainings organized in many branches, primarily aimed at making the children of disadvantaged families love sports, attract great attention.

CHILDREN OF THE CAPITAL LOVED BADMINTON

In the project initiated by Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş on September 11, 2021, children aged 6-16 started to receive badminton training at Batıkent Sports Hall and Sincan Family Life Center, accompanied by expert trainers and trainers.

ASKİ Sports Club Badminton Coach Yasemin Çakmak stated that both families and children love badminton after starting the course:

“As part of the free sports training project, which we started under the leadership of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mansur Yavaş, our badminton training continues two days a week at the Sincan Family Life Center. In addition to the children of disadvantaged families, children of families interested in sports can also participate. We are waiting for our young people who love badminton and want to do it.''

THANKS TO PRESIDENT YAVAS, FUTURE CHAMPIONS

Families who brought their children to the project initiated by ASKİ Spor to bring new national athletes to the society, and the children who sweat during training, thanked Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş for his support to sports and athletes with the following words:

-Azranur Sugar: “I came to study badminton. Our lessons are very enjoyable and our teachers are very interested in us.''

-Snowdrop Tall: "Our teachers show us the badminton throws, it helps us a lot."

-Elif Ozdemir: “We play games with our teachers in the courses. We are having a good time with my friends.”

-Muhammed Emin Yavuz: "Our teachers show us how to shoot in badminton and they are very interested in us."

-Kamer Boyra (Parent): “I am very pleased with the sports project initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality for our children. Our children have the opportunity to do sports and have fun. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.''

-Yusuf Yuksel (Parent): “I brought my grandson to badminton class. Thanks to the Metropolitan Municipality, our children can do sports. I would like to thank our President Mansur Yavaş for providing such an opportunity to our children.”

-Gulderen Ozdemir: “I am very pleased with the free sports trainings organized by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. Our children are getting really quality education and the teachers are interested in one by one. When our children are happy, we are happy too.”
