IMM's Suspended Invoice Campaign Reached 44.7 Million TL

Hundreds of thousands of people reached out to people they did not know with the 'Pending Invoice' initiated by IMM for those in need. The amount of paid water, electricity and natural gas bills reached 44 million 737 thousand TL. A total of 14 million 425 thousand TL aid was given to 'Family Support' and Mother-Baby Support' packages. Aid provided to needy university students amounted to 4 million 425 million TL.

The 'Suspended Invoice' launched on May 4, 2020 by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) to develop solidarity with those who had a hard time and made demands, gave hope to hundreds of thousands of people with the support of benefactors. Aid to the application, which includes families and people identified as in need, has grown day by day. With the social supports covering four different packages, an invoice amounting to 44 million 737 thousand TL was paid in the 'Pending Invoice'. 8 million 376 thousand TL was donated to the 'Family Support Package' and 6 million 48 thousand TL was given to the 'Mother-Baby Support Package'. With the aid of 4 million 425 thousand TL for students in need, the total support reached 63 million 588 thousand TL.

THE TAKER DOESN'T SEE THE HAND THAT GIVES

In Suspended Invoice, an application of IMM that brings together philanthropists and those in need of economic support, 44 thousand 737 invoices worth 302 million 747 thousand TL have been unhooked. The aid made during the winter period, when the figures reflected on the bill were folded, gave a little relief to hundreds of thousands of people.

SOLIDARITY IS GROWING EVERY DAY

A total of 14 million 425 thousand TL aid was given to the 'Family Support' and 'Mother-Baby Support' packages included in the 'Pending Invoice' with the support of those who have the means. With the 'Family Support Package', 8 thousand 376 packages worth 50 million 803 thousand TL reached families. With the 'Mother-Baby Support Package', 6 thousand 48 packages worth 33 million 992 thousand TL were delivered to mothers who were having financial difficulties. The donations made were deposited into the Istanbulkarts of those who needed support. He obtained his most basic needs from the contracted markets with the aid.

IMM also included students who had difficulties due to cash shortages into the system. 17 thousand 703 students benefited from the 'Education Support Package'. A total of 4 million 425 million TL of aid was received.
