Due to the 120th anniversary of his birth, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality hosted the artist's unforgettable work “Human Landscapes from My Country” as part of the commemoration of poet and writer Nazım Hikmet. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor watching the epic show directed by Rutkay Aziz Tunç Soyer congratulated the players.

The play written by the artist himself was staged at the commemoration night organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the 120th anniversary of the birth of poet and writer Nazım Hikmet. The two-act musical show at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM), adapted for the stage from Nazım Hikmet's work titled "Human Landscapes from My Country", was held by the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Tunç Soyer followed by the people of Izmir. The play, directed by Rutkay Aziz as well as acting and in which names such as Taner Barlas, Levend Yılmaz and Levent Ülgen took the stage, received great applause from the audience. Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer, went on stage to congratulate the actors one by one and gave flowers to the actors. Rutkay Aziz demanded applause from the audience, saying, "Bronze President, he took the stage that he had longed for a long time."

It gives hope

The play, which started on the steps of Haydarpaşa Train Station in 1939 and deals with the problems experienced both in the country and in the world such as unemployment, hunger and war, also contains messages about looking to the future with hope.
