A small fire broke out in the trams at two different stops of the Topkapı - Mescid-i Selam Tram Line in Istanbul. Passengers panicked due to the smoke surrounding the wagon in Edirnekapı.
On the Topkapı – Mescid-i Selam Tram Line, a small fire broke out in two trams, about 1 hour apart.
Smoke engulfed the carriage of the tram, which stopped at Edirnekapı station, at around 11.30 am. There was panic among the passengers. While the passengers were evacuated immediately, the small-scale fire was extinguished with the intervention.
