Cooperation from Siemens and SOCAR Turkey

Siemens Turkey and SOCAR Turkey signed an agreement for the main energy distribution infrastructure supply. A main electricity infrastructure cooperation agreement was signed between Siemens Turkey, one of the leading companies in their sectors, and SOCAR Turkey, which carries out the Turkish operations of SOCAR, the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the agreement, Siemens Turkey will undertake the installation and renewal of the entire energy distribution infrastructure and SCADA systems of STAR Refinery, SOCAR Storage and Petkim Petrokimya Holding under the umbrella of SOCAR Turkey Refinery and Petrochemical Business Unit for a period of 5 years.

Making a statement on the subject at the signing ceremony held at SOCAR Turkey İzmir – Aliağa facilities, Siemens Turkey Chairman and CEO Hüseyin Gelis said, “As a company, we are working to accelerate the digital transformation journeys of industries with our principle of 'Transforming the Present for the Future'.
